”Demokratiets institusjoner i møte med en nazistisk okkupasjonsmakt: Norge i et komparativt perspektiv” [Democratic institutions in the face of a Nazi occupying power: Norway in a comparative perspective] was a historical research project under the auspices of the Norwegian Center for Holocaust and Minority Studies (HL-Center). The project was funded primarily by the Research Council of Norway, and the final report was submitted to it in 2016.

"Institutions of Democracy Facing Nazi Occupation: Norway in a Comparative Perspective” is a history project based at the Norwegian Center for the Study of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities.

The project aims at examining how democratic institutions coped with attempts to Nazify them during the German occupation of Norway. 

”Demokratiets institusjoner i møte med en nazistisk okkupasjonsmakt: Norge i et komparativt perspektiv” var et historiefaglig forskningsprosjekt i regi av Senter for studier av Holocaust og livssynsminoriteter. Prosjektet hadde sin hovedfinansiering fra Norges forskningsråd. Sluttrapporten ble levert til Forskningsrådet i 2016.

Dette bokprosjektet går inn i kjernen av Holocaust i Norge og ser den økonomiske likvidasjonen og den fysiske tilintetgjørelsen som sidestilte deler av folkemordet på jødene.
