I joined The Norwegian Center for Holocaust and Minority Studies in November 2018 and hold a full time position as Head of Communications and Public Affairs.
Due to a part-time engagement as fiction writer, I have temporarily stepped down and now work half time as communications and events advisor. I will be back full time in 2021.
My core activity here at the Holocaust Center is communications work, including:
- event management
- web publishing, website and newsletter
- social media and marketing
- media monitoring and media relations
- strategy work
- proofing and other text work
Science communications has been my main occupation for the past years, after a decade within journalism. Prior to the Holocaust Center, I worked as a communications advisor at CICERO Center for International Climate Research, where my main responsibility was supporting the research groups Climate Policy, Atmospheric Sciences and CICEP Center for International Climate and Energy Policy. I also edited and managed the web magazine KLIMA. I did some project development, both in communications and research projects, supported application writing and developed communication strategies in different formats.
I hold a master's degree in English literature from the University of Oslo (2017). In August of 2019, my first novel "63 måtar å elske deg på" (in English "63 ways of loving you") was released at Samlaget publishing house.
