The Research Department at the HL-center is divided into the fields of Comparative Genocide, Holocaust and Religious Minorities.

Institutional Cooperation
The Center is part of the Nordic-Dutch Network of Centers for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. The Network, which was established in 2003 to promote institutional cooperation within the field of Holocaust and genocide studies, incorporates the following five institutions: The Uppsala Program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies; the Program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at the Danish Institute of International Studies in Copenhagen); Amsterdam Program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies; and the Living History Forum in Stockholm.
