The Library at HL-senteret

Established in 2004 as a unit for documentation and knowlegde, the library is a cornerstone in the HL-senter’s research and dissemination activities.

The main topics in the library collection are:

  • Holocaust and other genocides
  • Religions and life stances
  • Minorities

The collection encompasses books, journals, movies, speech and sound recordings, and some private archives. We have access to international databases, e.g. Testaments to the Holocaust. The library participates in a co-operation with other Norwegian and international libraries with inter-library loan. We provide individual assistance in searching and are happy to support our users in literature and reference searches, as well as articles from other collections.

The library provides services to:

  • Employees at the Center for Studies of Holocaust and Religious Minorities
  • Researchers and students
  • Other libraries in the inter-library loan co-operation

Other users are welcome to use the collection in the opening hours
